JUNE 22, 2010: MIDWAY ATOLL
Midway Atoll Approximately 1.4 Million Albatross reside on the Atoll during the spring mating and chick raising time. All three northern hemisphere specie are present, the Laysan Albatross, the Black Footed Albatross and the Short Tail Albatross. Numerous other birds breed on the Atoll throughout the year and were photographed as well. This gallery features 80 images of the magnificant Albatross
and some of the structures remaining on the Atoll.
